Why did my test charge fail?
There are a few reasons why your test charge might fail:
Your car battery might be full. We need room for around 5 minutes of charging to successfully complete a Test Charge.
Fix: Increase your target state of charge in your EV’s app for the test charge (you can adjust it back down afterwards)
We may have lost connection with your car during the test.
Fix: Make sure you’re connected to WiFi and retry.
Your car may not have been properly plugged in.
Fix: Unplug your charger and plug it back home
You were not at home when trying the Test charge
Fix: Either wait until you’re home or, if you are at home, wait a few minutes for the car to register being at home (this can take 15-20 minutes)
