How does our refer-a-friend promotion work?
If you’re joining Octopus on a friend’s referral, just sign up online and enter their referral code when you’re prompted to. You can also contact us to provide it once you’ve signed up.
If you want to refer a friend to Octopus, just give them your unique referral link. You can find your link, and a tally of all your referrals, on your portal. It’ll look something like octopusenergy.com/friend-referral/adjective-noun-123.
There’s no limit to the number of friends you can refer to us.
You and your friend will both get your $50 reward automatically, a few weeks after their account is fully switched over and they’ve paid their first bill. You’ll be able to see your reward on your next statement, or by viewing your transactions on the Octopus app.
