How do I cancel my service?
If you want to switch to a new provider, all you need to do is sign up with them. They’ll handle everything – including letting Octopus know you’re switching away. Once you’ve fully switched to them, we’ll stop supplying your property automatically.
We’ll send you a final bill shortly after – generally within a week, but it can be longer in some cases as we’re dependent on your TDSP. This bill will be due within two weeks of it being issued, and you can pay it however you normally do.
If you’re moving into a home where you don’t need electricity service (i.e., if it’s in an area where your provider is chosen for you) please contact us to cancel your service. Once we cancel your supply, we’ll send you a final bill.
