Octopus Energy Named Retail Energy Provider of the Year

During the month of April, the Energy Marketing Conferences hosted their Spring Energy Marketing Conference, a three-day virtual conference with more than 700 attendees, 40 sponsors, 75 3D virtual exhibitor booths, and over 50 industry professionals who spoke on multiple panels. We’re delighted to announce that Octopus Energy won the 2020 Retail Energy Provider of the Year award! 

What is the Energy Marketing Conference?

The Energy Marketing Conference is the largest event for the competitive energy sector in North America. Every spring, EMC announces the winner of the Retail Energy Provider of the Year award. The six nominees for the Retail Energy Provider of the Year Award were: Chariot Energy, Green Mountain Energy, nTherm, Octopus Energy, Smartest Energy and Tomorrow Energy. Because the theme of the Spring Conference was ‘The Road to Recovery,’ Retail Energy Providers were evaluated using the following criteria: wider use of technology, full customer transparency, better service, and sustainable energy.
