How the contest works
- When you sign up for Octopus Energy, you’ll get one entry to win the Drift0r prize pack.
- You’ll get another point if you connect your smart thermostat or EV to Intelligent Octopus.
- Entry closes on December 15th. On December 19th we’ll finalize the entries and randomly pick a winner. The drawing will only include customers who’ve fully switched to us.
For every point you earn, you’ll get an entry into the Drift0r prize draw. At the end of the promotion, we'll draw one lucky winner to win their favorite Drift0r prize pack and five random customers will win a 12-month membership to Amazon Prime.
How to enroll with Octopus Energy
Enrolling with Octopus is easy and just takes a few minutes. Here’s what you need to do:
- To participate, you’ll need to use Drift0r’s unique URL to enroll. (This is so we can track entries.) Just tap here to join.
- Enter your zip code to get started on the enrollment journey. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
- Once you’ve officially enrolled, you’ll need to connect your smart thermostat or EV to Intelligent Octopus through our app if you want to unlock another entry.

What could I win?
One lucky winner will win their Drift0r Prize bundle of their choosing. Five lucky winners will win a year’s Amazon Prime subscription.
How do I get entries in the draw to win the $1,000 Drift0r prize bundle?
You’ll get one entry into the Drift0r prize bundle draw when you enroll with Octopus Energy and another entry if you connect your device to Intelligent Octopus either with your compatible smart thermostat or electric vehicle (EV).
When will the prize draw take place?
On December 15, 2023 the promotion ends. On December 19, 2023 we’ll pick a random winner based on the number of entries for the Drift0r grand prize. At that time we’ll also randomly pick five names for the prize draw for the Amazon Prime membership. We’ll call and email all winners, and announce them on social media.
